ARTICLE 1. ORDER PROCESSING & PRODUCTION

1.1) Order Confirmation
Upon successful completion of your purchase, you will receive an electronic order confirmation within twenty-four (24) hours to the email address provided during checkout. This confirmation serves as our formal acknowledgment of your order and includes your unique order reference number, which should be referenced in all future correspondence.

1.2) Production Period
All products undergo a standard fourteen (14) calendar day production period prior to dispatch. This duration is necessary to ensure the meticulous preparation and quality assurance of your items. During peak seasons or exceptional circumstances, this period may be extended by up to five (5) additional business days, of which you will be notified immediately via email.

1.3) Processing Schedule
Our fulfillment center operates Monday through Friday, excluding official Kenyan public holidays. Orders placed after 12:00 PM East Africa Time (EAT) on Fridays or on weekends will be processed on the next available business day.

ARTICLE 2. SHIPPING METHODS & DELIVERY

2.1) Shipping Partners
We exclusively partner with DHL Express for all domestic and international shipments, ensuring reliable and trackable delivery services.

2.2) Domestic Shipping (Kenya)
a) Time: 14-day production + 1 business day for dispatch preparation.
b) Transit Time: 2-3 business days.
c) Shipping Cost:

    • KES 1500 flat rate for packages under 7kg  
    • FREE shipping on orders exceeding KES 50,000

2.3) International Shipping
a) Processing Time: 14-day production + 1 business day for dispatch preparation
b) Transit Time: 5-10 business days depending on destination
c) Shipping Cost: Calculated at checkout based on: 

    • Package dimensions (standard unit: 5kg, 30x40x20cm)
    • Destination country’s DHL zone
    • FREE shipping on orders exceeding $399 USD

2.4) Order Tracking
Upon dispatch, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing:

    • Your DHL tracking number
    • Estimated delivery date
    • Link to DHL’s real-time tracking portal

ARTICLE 3. DELIVERY & RECEIPT OF GOODS

3.1) Delivery Attempts
DHL will make up to two (2) delivery attempts. Should both attempts fail:

    •  The package will be held at the nearest DHL facility for five (5) business days
    • Storage fees of KES 300 per day will apply thereafter

3.2) Address Accuracy
Customers are solely responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information. Any errors resulting in:

    •  Failed deliveries
    • Additional shipping charges

Will be borne by the customer. Address changes requested after dispatch incur a KES 1,500 reprocessing fee.

3.3) Proof of Delivery
DHL requires a signature upon delivery. By providing your shipment release authorization, you assume all liability for loss or damage after delivery.

ARTICLE 4. CUSTOMS, DUTIES & TAXES

4.1) International Shipments
All international orders are subject to:

    • Import duties
    • Value-added taxes (VAT)
    • Customs clearance fees

These charges are:

    •  The sole responsibility of the recipient
    • Not included in our product prices or shipping costs
    • Determined by your local customs authority

4.2) Customs Documentation
We accurately declare:

    • Product descriptions
    • Harmonized System (HS) codes
    • Declared values

Any false information provided by customers to circumvent customs may result in order confiscation without refund.

 

ARTICLE 5. SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

5.1) Prohibited Destinations
We reserve the right to refuse shipments to countries where:

    • Our products violate import regulations
    • DHL services are unavailable

ARTICLE 6. POLICY MODIFICATIONS

We reserve the right to amend this shipping policy at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website with the effective date clearly displayed. Significant changes will be communicated to customers via email.
